How did Two Former
Government We’ve got a story you simply won’t believe… This isn’t going to be your typical rags to riches “fairly tale” where another Internet marketing guru tells you how they went from being bankrupt and nearly homeless to making a million dollars in one year. Nope that isn’t us. Our names are Jeff Grant and Cindy Kappler. We both live in Arizona—Jeff in Phoenix and Cindy in Tucson. We have seven kids between us and we both married our high school sweethearts! Jeff is an alum of Arizona State University and a huge Sun Devil fan. In fact, he’s such a diehard fan he bleeds maroon and gold (ASU’s colors). Cindy is an alum of ASU’s arch-rival the University of Arizona and a big Wildcat fan. Needless to say, we’ve made a number of good-natured bets when our teams played each other! We met 15 years ago while working in Arizona State Government and became instant friends. We worked our way up through the ranks together and were each making over $100,000 per year working in high-level government positions...until we quit. Many people thought we were totally nuts when we quit those six-figure-a-year-jobs on January 3, 2003. Frankly, our relatives, friends, former colleagues and even our spouses thought we had totally lost it. Pretty scary, huh? It was. Leaving the security of an 8-to-5 job with a guaranteed paycheck to strike out on our own…but we did it anyway. Little did we know fate would step in 11 days later… On January 14, 2003, Yanik Silver, one of the greatest Internet marketers on the planet today, eagerly agreed to become our mentor and began helping us to put together this all new web advertising resource guide. (Yanik is still in his 20’s and is raking in close to $1 million a year with his Internet marketing business.) Yanik had planned to produce this breakthrough product himself -- it was high on his idea list -- but he was so swamped with his other money-making projects that he simply hadn’t found the time to get it done. So we went right to work and with Yanik’s oversight and continued assistance, this amazing product - four months in the making - has now hit the market. We are very gratified, but not entirely surprised, at the positive response. Well, that’s our story. That’s a little about who we are and how Web Ad Magic came to be.
